HICKORY, N.C. — One member of the the Catawba Valley Community College men's basketball program has been honored by Region 10 for his performance on the court following the completion of the 2025-26 season.
Red Hawks sophomore wing TJay Mills was named Second Team All-Region.
The Winston-Salem native led CVCC with 16.5 points and 1.5 steals per contest this past winter. He also ranked third in assists per game (2.7).
The Red Hawks finished their 2025-26 season with a 20-11 record. It was the seventh time in program history that the CVCC men's basketball team had won 20 or more games in a season and the first under head coach Shawn Johnson.
The Catawba Valley Community College men's basketball team also broke records for its longest winning streak (11) and the most 100-point games in a season (11).
