Matt Grantham enters his first season as an assistant coach for the Catawba Valley Community College men's basketball program.

Grantham comes to the Red Hawks after spending the past three seasons as an assistant men's basketball coach at North Carolina Wesleyan University.

A graduate of East Carolina University, Grantham comes from a tradition-rich coaching family. His father Greg has been a long-time coach at White Oak High School in Jacksonville, N.C.

Matt was a team manager for the ECU men’s basketball program while pursuing his undergraduate studies, including a major in Psychology and minor in business management.

Grantham also has experience working with major college basketball camps, including at North Carolina State and the University of Maryland.
